How do you stay on I-35 going north though oklahoma city?
Sounds simple but everytime I travel north though oklahoma city on my way to KC I end up off I-35 and lost trying to find it again. I always try to watch for the signs but it always happens. Anybody have any suggestions. (no I wont fly)

I understand your confusion. This has happened to me and I have ended up on I-40. While going north, watch for/and follow I-44 East signs until you have to make a choice of going to Tulsa on I-44 or Edmond/Stillwater/Wichita on I-35. Good Luck
Answer 2 :
My advice is to take 235 north to Edmond, turn right on East 2nd street and catch I-35N from there. It gets you out of the busy part of the city, and you should be in the free and clear by then.
Answer 3 :
When you are approaching downtown, I-35 exits right from the road... if you go straight, you wind up on I-235. After you exit, you're on a stretch of road that is both I-35 North and I-40 East. After a couple of miles. I-35 exits to the left, and from there you should have no problem. If you do wind up on I-235... and you know you are if you pass the State Capitol (it's the only freeway you can see it from), then take it up to East I-44, and take that to I-35.
